Information and Folders

LightWave operates with articles internet directories. When operating on a design or a world, LightWave looks in the Information Index for any files it needs. Using these features is an excellent way to keep your assignments individual, and also allows you to store your assignments on their own from the major software.

When you start a new world, the Moments file within the specified Information Index is where LightWave looks first. From there you can specify a different directory, but it’s always excellent to keep within the Information Index if you can.
Working this way creates it much simpler to duplicate a particular venture to deliver to someone else or to back up your work.

1. Copy the LWProjects file from the CD to your challenging disk, ultimately somewhere other than in the LightWave file. This is an excellent file to keep all your LightWave assignments in. If you start the file you can find the significant files for the lessons in this publication, as well as a Project Design file that you can duplicate and relabel for each new venture.

2. To start a new enterprise, make a repeat of the Venture Style computer file and relabel the attractive computer file effectively for the enterprise. This gives you all the variations LightWave needs, as well as some useful commencing times.
You’ll also see a computer file in LWProjects known as NewPlugins. This is where I’ve included the third-party plug-ins used during the course of this distribution. It’s always a fantastic choice to keep your third-party plug-ins personal from the plug-ins set up with LightWave. If you already have a third-party plug-ins computer file, you can repeat this plug-ins to your founded computer file. If you do not, I recommend using this computer file to store your third-party plug-ins from now on.
