The Modify menu is used for object manipulation and
conversion. It is crack into 6 parts: transforms node assessment,

square at the middle of the manipulator and drag across the view plane. There
are several coordinates systems you can use to move your selections in Maya.
The default coordinate system is World. When World is chosen, the object is set
to move the length of the world axes. Selecting Object will move your
collection in object space. Local will align the object to match the parent
object’s turning round. The Normal option allows you to
move control vertices on a NURBS surface in the U and V instructions.
