The generate menu is where you generate your geometry,
curves, illumination, and cameras. This is also where you make locators and
sets. A locator is more usually known as a dummy object. It is a non-renderable
object that other nodes can be parented to. To make locators go to Create _
Locator.
A set consists of a set of objects or components. A set at
opening glance may seem like a set but, unlike groups, sets do not modify the
scene hierarchy.
